They are a light, cool-toned light blue (aqua/turquoise/cyan) with metallic silver flakes that make them look like they sparkle! :) The blue velvet is very muted, cool-toned, dusty/greyish, so they are more neutral and less bright/saturated, making them a fun color accent without being obnoxiously blue. Comes freshly machine washed with hypoallergenic (Attitude brand) laundry detergent; was hung to air dry on the curtain rod. Purchased these for our new house and were in our guest bedroom window for ~2 years until I just found some new ones I felt suited the room & wall color better.
