In addition to some normal surface/age wear throughout, the silver tone metal has darkened in a few spots, and there is also a number of relatively small areas of (silver tone metal) plating loss here and there (which, thankfully, are fairly well hidden in the texture and luster of the metal). The largest of these areas of plate loss is on the stem, right where it leads into the body of the leaf.
