This size is approximate because the stone is already mounted making it difficult to measure. SETTINGS: Both stones bezel set in high quality sterling silver. TRANSPARENT OR SOLID STONES?: Amethyst is transparent, Onyx is not. FACETED STONES OR NOT?: Amethyst is faceted, Onyx is not faceted. SIZABLE IF NECESSARY: A jeweler should be able to size this and will probably charge a fee for this service.  If the ring is a bit too big, you can buy a ring guard (or called a ring decreaser) for about $4, which easily fits on the ring band.
