ohusoneedthis Right before Covid started getting a lot of attention—-we got hit in this immediate area by a tornado!!! 2 streets—both dead end. Om my street there are maybe 12-13 homes on street, all lots are about from 3-5 acres. About 8 homes incurred such serious damage that they had to be torn down.Out of 8 homes destroyed only 4 are rebuilding!! Others are just selling their land! On way back in here 2 schools were destroyed. Thanks again for the shares! You are very kind!

ohusoneedthis But, what your closet made me think of is all of the things in this house. Cookbooks, crystal pieces, all the stuff sitting on shelves and stuff I just find in drawers are potenial listings. My mother who was handicapped and very ill the last 10 years. I took care of her and even moved in! There’s 40 yrs of stuff here and I’ve got to move it out of here. My mom passed away in January and I’ve decided to keep the house and land. As, it will possibly go commercial in the next few yrs.

But, I’ve come across bank statements from ‘73 and ‘74! Don’t think I’ll be needing those! My mom was a pack-rat! I am to a certain extent! I’ve even found the Betty Crocker cookbook from ‘78 that I think you have listed!

shensley548 @ddholomb with pricing I giggle search and search on Poshmark for items like the one I’m selling and set my price close to that. Don’t set it too low. Give yourself some wiggle room to make offers and give a shipping discount. Giving a deal is great, but you deserve to make money.

shensley548 @kristis123 thank you! It took me a while to figure it out, too. To name each section, I use Typorama. You can choose different stock image background images and type your section title. It is free, too! Then you have to share backwards. That’s the tricky part. Always remember, last one shared is the first one listed. I had to, and still do, share and reshare my items to get them in the order I want.

shensley548 @kristis123 play around with it and don’t worry about sharing your closet too much. There is no such thing! 😂 With Typorama, you can search for different stock images. You don’t have to just use the ones on the main page. Took me a while to figure that out, too.😁

shensley548 @ddholomb good morning! Your prices look fine to me. As far as sales go, it’s like a rollercoaster for me, too. One thing you can do to get more followers is the parties each day. Pick one or two that you have items the hosts can choose from and be sure to follow there directions for a possible host pick. They always have lots of followers and if you share their closet they share yours. This helps your business even if you don’t get a host pick.

Click on each ones pages and follow her if you don’t already. Usually they will have a “I’m hosting a party” listing. Click that and see what it says.

The comment I always put is “I would love for you to check out my closet. Thank you.” You will see others will lots of emojis and congrats and things like that but I think short and simple works just fine.

You have great purses and will probably get a host pick. Getting a HP is great and SO exciting! But that doesn’t insure a sale but it will gain you more followers.

shensley548 @drpressly good morning! I use Typorama to make category/section names. Then share each item in that section. Once I have all of the shoes/makeup/tops/etc at the top of my closet, I create a new listing with my category name and make it “not for sale” Hope that helps!
