Nov 19Reply

shimmer47@jeffwhite949 thank you! I'm an artist too and need to sell my work LOL. I absolutely love your art. My personal opinion is you are selling it too cheap though! Best of luck though and keep at it :)

Nov 19Reply

jeffwhite949Thank you Diane. Your 100 percent right. I think the majority of people don’t realize the time and all the cost that are involved but if it makes them happy it makes me happy so there’s a careful. Balance. You can’t put a price on Happiness

Nov 19Reply

shimmer47@jeffwhite949 the abstract portraits u done should be in a gallery.

shimmer47@vld123 your Art is amazing, I love it!! I have art to sell too but it is outside of their shipping guidelines because it's too big... so I havent figured that out yet. I would be glad to post your art on pinterest and tumblr too if you want? it connects back to poshmark. Let me know. Thanks for sharing my stuff as well. no sales yet but I am trying. Need Christmas funds for my kid LOL. Have a great day!!!

Nov 29Reply

shimmer47@vld123 Great I will share your art on those today and maybe you will get some more sales. Looks like I will also have to do smaller paintings to sell on poshmark. It will be fun though! Thought that might be fun 😊 I seen somebody sewed lace on the bottom of one and it was super cute. I also need to find something to put those vintage buttons on I bought from you LOL.

shimmer47@cabinandsea Hi! We are okay. thanks for asking! How are you?? My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer today though so that's not good. Traveling to St. Pete tomorrow to the V.A. hospital to take him for a biopsy. I would greatly appreciate a little prayer for him and our safe travels up there 🙋‍♀️ Hope you are doing well! I love your new items you posted recently. I showed a friend of mine your shop this past weekend.

Jan 21Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea That's great, thanks so much! I hope the new Church works out good.

Jan 21Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea She wants to start a shop and I showed her yours as an example of how to make it look nice, not like mine LOL

Jan 21Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Thank you for the compliment!! Yours is still the best though. The way you style everything just looks so awesome. Bet you would make a great interior decorator.

Jan 22Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Ha Ha Ha you are so right!!! I like to shop and call it 'working' if I am going to resell it! It's actually helping me with stress and financially a little bit to get out of debt. Some of the stuff I have for sale is for another single mom and I hope it starts to go well b/c I think alot of struggling single parents could do this for extra income. It's fun and you get to make money....as long as you dont spend it all back on poshmark LOL which is hard to resist sometimes.

Jan 22Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea It is super fun. I can't see myself stopping ever doing it, although I'm running out of storage room! Good luck with the Church funding :) My friend whom I showed your shop too, her Church is trying to come up with funding as well. Currently they are having Church at a high school auditorium.

Jan 22Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea I think it's awesome too they do that! They have had there over a year now and went a couple of times but it's a far drive for me. So much bad stuff going on in the world but God is still working and building up his Church ❤

Jan 22Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea I will say a prayer about that for you. I am sure the Lord with work things out.

Jan 22Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Have a wonderful evening, so nice talking to you again! ❤ Take care and thanks for being a blessing to me. Jesus LOVES you and he is smiling right now.

Feb 10Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea That's weird all your listings disappeared....makes me really wonder what happened there. I'm glad they came back up. I would have been really upset! I'm so sorry you have a cold. I hope you feel better and I will pray for you today 😔 you need homemade chicken soup. If I were there, I would make you some! The chicken broth would help you fight it off. Get plenty of rest and I will be thinking about you!❤⚘🙋‍♀️🥰

Feb 14Reply

shimmer47❤❤❤Happy Valentines Day!!❤❤❤

Feb 14Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Yes ma'am I sure will!! Is your cold better?

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea I did find a vintage Lucille ball and desi arnaz I love Lucy barbie Doll set set in a small consignment store that's in the original packaging but they want $50 for it. Still a good price for it. That's the only thing I have come across. Hard to find vintage 60-70s Barbies.

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea LOL I had that easy bake oven as a kid! You just brought back alot memories! Dad went today to get checked on the position of the tumor. There is a nerve right next to it so they have see where exactly they can go on at. Thanks so much for asking! I am praying he will be fine. It is stage 1 or 2 cancer but he is 79 with alot of other conditions.

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea He is going on the 26th about his legs, it took almost 3 months to get the appointment and still waiting for insurance approval. I am nervous about what they find. I'm hoping they say its growing pains. I dont know if he is ready for graduation or not, he doesnt seem to want to grow up hee hee. he likes being at home.

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Oh you are so wonderful and I hope you are so right! My biggest fear is that cerebral palsy was a wrong diagnoses and something is wrong! The neurologist said he should not be growing anymore but all the guys that talked to that are over 6' said they had growing pains until almost 20! God bless you so much for praying for us. It means so very much to me.You are God's prayer warrior!!!

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea well you never know, we just might!!! poshmark wanted me to start this coffee shop meet up deal once a month but I felt like that would be more for the boutique selling people 😁

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea it would be awesome if one day we could get together for women's conference too! I would really like to go to a Joyce Meyer one if she ever comes here. I wish I could have went to a Billy Graham one before he passed.

Feb 18Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea I really dont know, I didnt check into it further. You didn't get one to sign up? I figured the sent it out to all posh ambassadors. it showed up like a posh party invite to sign up to organize posh meetings at coffee shops to, I quess, just meet other poshers and talk about stuff.

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea nothing LOL. I dont understand why you are not. you should be. You have to buy something atleast once though and give a review. Have you bought anything for yourself? you have to have something like 15 sales and share so many new poshers that have signed up. I'm not sure of any benefit other than you get to put "posh ambassador" on your shop, which I dont have that plastered all over mine.

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47I think they said you get promoted to new poshers more too but not sure? On your account page, there is a place you can look up your stats to see what else you need to do to become one. I can't believe you dont have because you should have posh Queen status. you're probably only missing like one little thing or something

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47You know I told you I think you shop is the BEST and anytime I talk to some about poshmark I show them your shop. Alot of them have poshmark ambassador stat but you just go look around and you know what I'm talking about. I dont pay much attention to it.

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea .. hmmm makes me wonder LOL I dont have it all over mine other than mentioning it on the "about me" post and very little at the bottom. I feel like either a person likes my stuff or dont and that's it.

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea you're going to get this status soon I am sure, then you are going to have to decide whether to advertise it or not. 😁

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea not long!! you find out under "my posh stats" and then my "posh stylist analysis". You also have to be one of the first 50 people to share a new poshers items, someone that just joined. That might be what you are missing.

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea okay. Sleep well tonight.😊🙏

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea I'm sorry I had it wrong. its under-my account-my posh stats- my posh ambassador status. it will tell you all you have to do...5,000 self shares. 5, 000 other shares, 50 listings, share 50 new people, 15 sales and a few more things. we will talk again and I can help you if u need help

Feb 19Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Hi!!! Great to hear from you and glad to hear you are doing good!! I've been working from home and thankful I have been able to do that for a while. I was sick for two weeks but it was not covid. Glad to hear about your garden! I planted some garlic bulbs that are coming up nicely. I have lots of red zinnias blooming drawing butterflies 🦋 watching them, the birds and squirrels play everyday and it's a joy ❤

May 17Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea ha ha think my closet looks bad. I have intentions of putting new stuff up, hopefully tomorrow. Your closet is still awesome! You could be a professional designer and photographer, it's so appealing LOL 😜 I was a little better at decorating than am.

May 17Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea Thanks for asking, Dad is doing better, he finished radiation. my son just finished high school Friday but they are not having graduation. How is your family?

May 17Reply

shimmer47@cabinandsea That's great doing the online Church!! Hope you are staying safe yourself 💗 this covid is really scary and I am still in shock over. I know the Lord is looking after us though and has a plan. One day a time.

May 17Reply

hrondeau_19HI! I am heartbroken to hear that the platter broke! Are you sure you don't want to report it to Posh? I feel absolutely terrible! I thought that I had securely packaged it? I feel super bad for you : (

May 21Reply

shimmer47@hrondeau_19 No absolutely not, it's not your fault so no worries!! we literally watched the mailman drop the box on the ground. I wanted to make a birdbath out of it and think of gorilla glue will hold, I can still. I've shipped two things before to others myself that got broken so dont worry about it!!! please dont feel bad, I will fix it. Still love it!!

May 21Reply

hrondeau_19@shimmer47 Oh my gosh, that is such a cool idea using the platter as a birdbath! Very ingenious! It definitely has that outside vibe to it! I actually received a package recently. It had stickers all over it saying "fragile" and it was flattened like a pancake lol Good thing it wasn't breakable! Poor mailmen, they are probably burnt out with this whole pandemic! Probably worse than Christmas time for them right now! Keep me posted as to how it works out and take care!

May 21Reply

shimmer47@hrondeau_19 LOL yep. I think my mailman is mad at me because I order everything online and ship alot of stuff. He got his revenge today 😜Take care & stay safe!!

May 21Reply

Jul 05Reply

shimmer47@brucesgal10 Awesome Sheena! I have a collection of vintage Avon cream bottles myself, antique chanel and lipstick tubes!! i havent brought myself to sell them yet LOL I love vintage cosmetic holders 💕 back then they were beautiful but now days everything is plastic. Absolutely no pressure ever to buy anything! Mostly this is hobby for me that makes a little money on the side. That being said, always feel free just to see what the discount price is and no harm done 💕 blessings & love, Diana

brucesgal10@shimmer47 I am like you, can’t part with things. I know I have things you would love, just from seeing your closet. Maybe in awhile. Love your closet and will keep a close check. I am getting a little old to keep collecting... but you know how that’ll is.💕

Jul 05Reply

shimmer47@brucesgal10 yes I do!! I love antiques and pretty things!! I really love the 1920s-1940s eras, even the movies, the cars and everything ❤ I just bought two magazines that were published in the early 20s and I just sit and look at them. I don't know why I'm so drawn to these things 🤔 it is really hard to let go of the stuff I love to look at ha ha..

Jul 05Reply

brucesgal10@shimmer47 I know exactly how you feel. You are an old soul. Much posh love to you. Sheena💕

You shimmer & shine!!! 🤗🌟💫🧚🏼‍♀️

Jul 09Reply

Make sure u tag me in what you get 😍 your closet also already looks amazing, I love it! You are artistic and creative 💕Have a great night. Continue to walk in love as you already do, you have brought me joy 💕😍

Jul 09Reply

fairychristineThank you so much for your sweet message❤️ 🥰I just love finding a rare kindred spirit like you—it’s such an honor and delight !❤️🦋

Jul 09Reply

fairychristine❤️thank you so much for your beautiful encouraging compliment on my closet—coming from you it means so very much. It’s kind of overwhelming, trying to stretch myself and see what I enjoy photographing & selling & trying to figure out how to make this little dream turn into something. Thank you for being a precious posh guardian angel ❤️ you’re a constant inspiration. I’m so grateful you were sent! Blessings❤️💫🧚🏼‍♀️

Jul 09Reply

fairychristineLol I’m such a goofball with navigating this website. you liked my wonderland locket and I tried to send a private offer with no shipping that would take a loss and be well worth it if it could be something you’d enjoy! I don’t know if I did it right I tried twice. 😂someday I’ll crack the posh website mysteries!❤️🙏🤗

Jul 09Reply

shimmer47@fairychristine LOL no worries dearest, I had to crack down on myself from buying and dont need this but it's a great necklace! How awesome 'Alice in Wonderland' so cool 💕 your closet staging looks so great 💕 everything is very pretty and you have such a way with words that I dont have. A little jealous over that ha ha you 🥰🌸 Have a beautiful day ❤

Jul 09Reply

fairychristine❤️🤗Awww! Thank you so much!—I love doing write ups. I feel Iike Elaine on Seinfeld doing stories for J. Peterman catalogue—with her ‘urban sombrero’ & ‘detox poncho’ 😂. Have a glorious day! You shimmer & shine bright like a diamond in the sun! 🌟💫🎉🧚🏼‍♀️

Jul 09Reply

shimmer47@fairychristine Ha ha Elaine is super funny. U would definately make an excellent author. I seen the town where you live (very cool) I had to look up to see if Dean Koontz lives there, who is my fave author 💕 I believe he wrote about your area in a novel but not sure. Anyhoo, your package is waiting for pick up. The label is two day priority but I think it would be pretty magical if it got there from South Florida to where u are in two days! LOL💕Have a great day Luv.

Jul 09Reply

fairychristinePs. I don’t so much want to take up your time!! but if you get a spare second—I’ve got a question: How to convo with someone privately in just in their own and my own messages back and forth with them rather than under an item or their posher into listing? You know the solution to this enigma wrapped in a mystery wrapped in another riddle& I cannot crack this posher mystery myself! 🙃🙂🧚🏼‍♀️

Jul 09Reply

shimmer47@fairychristine I dont think there is way to do that unfortunately ☹ I usually do that under a sold item and hopefully no one reads but still it's taking a chance. or maybe do a bundle item and then talk on the bundle correspondence. I dont think anyone else can see that convo. Otherwise u just have to exchange emails.

Jul 09Reply

Jul 19Reply

fairychristineHi❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗 I hope you are doing well❤️just got msg from Hainesboutique saying you and I can have a private msg in a bundle chat space. I’m not sure who that is—did we chat on her site somehow? I hope I didn’t offend 😬. I’m always afraid I’ll do something stupid on this site since it’s still hard to navigate!! I think I accidentally sent pictures of my butterfly cocoons to a posh part the other day 🤭. Anyway it’s good to know. 🤗❤️Blessings!

Jul 19Reply

shimmer47@fairychristine ha ha that's funny. I accidentally post stuff to parties too, it wont hurt anything. No u didnt offend anyone or do anything wrong deary, she read our prior comments and was saying bundle convos are private 💕 hope u are doing good and all is well for u 💕💖

Jul 19Reply

fairychristineLol I’m such a nerd! SO Glad to know I’m not the only one who has done that! The funniest part is that my cocoon then started getting shared 😂I think he’s getting popular so I put up a picture of him him after he emerged and that’s being shared. They really are special. Life is so funny. Hope you are doing very well. I’m recuperating from helping my mom then going back in a week. Blessings!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

22crocheter22Hello everyone! I just had to take a second to say this. Shimmer47's closet is the PLACE TO SHOP! In case you couldn't tell already, she puts a lot of work into beautifully staging her items and describing them. She has had COUNTLESS 5 star reviews and many people are in love with her shop. Her shop is highly recommended. And I'm not done yet, that was just talk about the closet! The actual person running the whole thing? UNBELIEVABLY amazing! She is (ran out of space for this comment.)

Sep 03Reply

22crocheter22(Continuing message above). She is so kind and she cares about each and every person. She has complimented other closets so many times (including mine) and really builds relationships with other Poshers. All in all, I'm just recommending her A LOT. God bless!

Sep 03Reply

shimmer47@22crocheter22 oh wow I'm crying 😭 I cant believe you wrote all of this 😭💕 I am just...overwhelmed. 😭 Thank you. This is going in my Bible for a keepsake 😊 I feel the same about you, your items are handmade with such care and love, I cherish everything. Thank you so much for the Love ❤ and I love you back ❤ You are a beautiful person, inside and out, a rare diamond!

Sep 03Reply

22crocheter22@shimmer47 Oh! <3. It's all so very true. You are such a joy and God is using you in so many people's lives to make them better. Thank you! "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" - Ephesians 2:10. "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 Have a peaceful night, God bless you!

rokosbasiliskWhat is the name of this cemetery where the angel is sitting pensively on top of the catafalque from?

Nov 30Reply

shimmer47@dijkstrasalgo Thank you for stopping by! This statue is at Verano Monumental Cemetary in Rome, Italy. "The Angel of the Night" was done in 1885 by Giulio Monteverde. Not sure why she is called angel of the Night by the Artist but I choose to believe she is pondering the Stars. I could spend hours looking at beautiful cemetary statues..totally in awe.

Nov 30Reply

rokosbasilisk@shimmer47 Thank you for this information.

Dec 31Reply

shimmer47@zepeda_shop Hi yes, you sure can, as long as it's not super cold where you are. If it is, you might want to keep it inside by a sunny window until it gets warmer outside while it is still small. It will get alot larger over summer. Make sure to water once a week too. 💕

sspiteryGood morning! Your closet is looking beautiful!!!!!

Nov 06Reply

shimmer47@sspitery Good morning!!! Yours is too! You have great stuff and great prices!! I like to change up the styles every once in a while. it's alot easier to post items with this plain background but not sure yet how it will affect sales though.

Nov 06Reply

sspitery@shimmer47 You seem to be doing ok! Do you watch any of those you tube videos for advice? I want to but there are so many - I need a recommendation!

Nov 06Reply

shimmer47@sspitery I didn't even know there was videos LOL! guess I should check those out! I don't have any advice either except follow and share ALOT ha ha...

Nov 07Reply

sspitery@shimmer47 Now I’ve taken the free trial of OneShop - it’s an app that follows and shares for you. I’m going to give it a week and see what happens. It is sharing my closet like crazy and I feel I’m getting more likes. Not necessarily more sales but more likes. There is so much out there to help us and I’m just scratching the surface! Hope you are doing well. I may have to make another bundle even though I’m trying so hard not to shop!

Nov 18Reply

shimmer47@sspitery I know what you mean! I had to cut myself off from shopping for a while LOL! where did u find this app your talking about? it sounds helpful. I have this week and next week training my replacement at work (Ihad the same job for 17 years) then I am going to take a leap of faith and try to fo my own business...I'm super nervous! mo money saved so I'm putting a lot of trust in the Lord 😄 i'll be adding a lot of new stuff to sell too as soon as I'm off work

Nov 18Reply

sspitery@shimmer47 I want to give you the “referral” link but I’m not sure I can do it here. I will try. Anyways it’s 1 week for free (no credit card needed) after that I believe it’s $45 per month. For me I’m thinking that’s a pretty good deal because I spend hours sharing and following. I am going to reserve judgement though until I see what happens during my week

Nov 18Reply

Nov 18Reply

sspitery@shimmer47 Well it doesn’t work here but you can see the name anyways. It’s a phone app and I’ve joined the FB community and they have a chat line 24/7. Ive really been trying to learn learn learn. I do t have any good YouTubes to recommend yet but when I do I will tell you

Nov 18Reply

shimmer47@sspitery Thank you for the heads up on the sharing ap! Sounds a little pricey for me. Let me know how it works out though!!
