Shoshanna ‘Oceania’ one-shoulder, abstract-print dress. Overlay skirt panel is lightly shirred with asymmetrical hem, adding flow and movement to the skirt. High-waist (not quite empire) seam elongates body frame. Stunning, unforgettable, easy to move in. I’ve received more compliments on this dress than I can count. Appropriate for dressy-casual to semi-formal occasions and resort wear. In excellent cond, showing no signs of wear. It has been well-cared for. Recently dry cleaned. Silk crepe/cotton blend shell does not pill. Will ship in a dress box, lined with Japanese acid-free paper to avoid wrinkling the shirring (which takes a long time to iron out & requires using muslin between the shell and lining to protect colour transfer). Features: * Side zip * Skirt shape is a very slight, gradual A-line * Asymmetrical front panel overlay on skirt with bias shirring * Bias shirring on front and back of bodice provides soft drape without making the dress look ‘overdone’ or ‘fussy’. * Shoulder features accordion-style shirring * Light, invisible boning in bodice at front & back Material: 100% acetate lining; 68% silk/32% cotton shell. This can be washed by hand with a silk wash in very cold water, but once dry, it requires a lot of time & effort to iron the shirring. Colour transfer a risk with steaming. Recommend dry cleaning.
