Signed Guy Vidal Brutalist Pewter & Brass Spheres Split-Circle Brooch

Up for consideration is a large plated pewter and brass brooch by Canadian designer Guy Vidal from the 1970s. Its brutalist design features a heavily textured face and a centre opening, out of which two brass spheres sprout like mushrooms! A striking piece: so typical of its time and genre.
