Smoky Quartz Necklace with Tourmalines in Sterling Silver

I love to create pieces that blend from one colour into the next. In this necklace, I combined several shades of tourmaline with real smoky quartz. The pendant in this necklace is created by stacking eight tourmaline teardrops together. These stones range in length from 4.5 to 6.5mm, and blend from pale gold at the top, to chocolate brown at the bottom. Underneath the group of tourmaline is a stunning smoky quartz gemstone. This plump, pear-shaped stone is the darkest brown I have seen, with expert faceting to catch the light. Bright sterling silver cable chain completes the necklace, and tiny smoky quartz stones connect the lobster clasp. So elegant, this quartz necklace is a perfect way for women to welcome Fall. This necklace is approx. 16 5/8" (42cm) long, and the pendant section extends down an additional 1 1/2" (3.8cm). Please let me know if you would prefer a different length.
