I understand, we always had pets when the kids were home then no pets for awhile but finally decided to adopt an older pair. They had been returned to the Rescue village and a little older. I have two that love taking life easy and sitting in laps.

d_setterfield Yes, I do understand. Your white kitty Reminds me of my daughters white kitty. Her name was Candy. When she was about 4 she climbed up under the hood of our car. Yup, I started the car up not knowing she was on the engine. It took her leg off. The vet finished the amputation and my nephew gave her a nickname, Tripod. She lived to be 15. Pets, they are amazing. I hope some day you can feel ready to open your heart to more pets. I can tell you have lots of love to gjve.💖💖💖
