saimsk Hello. This is regarding the Charles David nude wedges purchase and ur comments. I am really sorry for the disappointment that u had to go through. However I truly wonder how I couldn’t note all of that. And wish I could have taken pics while packing which is a lesson learned from this case. why U didn’t just refuse to accept it instead of going through all the hassle. azaleed @saimsk Hello, I'm happy to provide photos of the damage described. There can be no logical reason why I would damage and item after it arrives if I intend to keep it. I can't know your motivation for photographing the shoes in the positions that you did, I can only say that the gauges which reveal a color variance are not visible in any if the photos, and the photos, I now notice, do not reveal every side of each shoe.

azaleed @saimsk Additionally, being covered in coffee splashes necessarily indicates that they weren't even looked at closely or wiped with a cloth before shipment. As I stated in my feedback, I kept them bc I find it difficult to fit my wide feet in most ladies shoes, but Charles David shoes fit me perfectly and I cannot find a duplicate of this style anywhere. My cobbler is very good and I have all confidence he can fix them up to be presentable enough for my needs.

azaleed @saimsk An investment in a lower priced pair? Sure, but I like to help keep independent tradespeople working as a matter of ideology, so I sometimes pay for non-investment pieces to be tailored or cleaned. It helps keep dying trades open for business, and a robust second-hand market is good for the environment. I've, unfortunately, received three poorly represented items from perfectly reviewed sellers here. One Posh Ambassador flatly lied in response to a direct question in comments.

azaleed @saimsk So be it. Buyer beware, but my feedback was honest, and I'd have been within rights to return the shoes for misrepresentation of condition. I think honest reviews are critical on Poshmark as it helps buyers protect one another, which is good for keeping the market thriving- people will stop buying second hand if they don't receive what they expected, and Poshmark makes the enforcement of their guarantees relatively difficult when the seller isn't acting in good faith.

azaleed @saimsk Lastly,I can find no place where buyers are informed of how many times a transaction was reversed due to misreprrsentation. Poshmark intentionally conceals negative feedback via that mechanism. A seller who has 20 five star feedbacks may have sold 40 items which were returned for misrepresentation and buyers have no way of knowing. It's an easy way to manipulate one's own seller rating.

saimsk @azaleed I got ur point and respect ur views. Just one last comment. The coffee splashes May have been overlooked as I personally cleaned the shoes before packing however the gouges cannot be and all I can think must be during the shipment. For future, I ll be taking pics when Packing. Thanks

azaleed @saimsk You "packed" them by sticking each shoe in an open plastic shopping bag and dropping into a box that was larger than their volume with no other packing material of any kind to prevent them from rattling around during handling- no newspaper, no additional bunched-up bags, no bubble wrap- just tossed in a roomy box.

azaleed @saimsk I found nothing in the box that was pointed that might cause a gouge and the box was undamaged, but, even if you're right, buyers don't pay good money for bad packaging practices, either. Doing our best to ensure that items arrive in the condition they leave us is a responsibility of selling.
