They have the same colours as peacock, green, pink, purple, blue. Markings: STERLING TAXCO HECHO EN MÉXICO 925 CCC ( this hallmark is mentioned in the Mexican Silver Hallmark Book page 177 The leaves on the earrings are made of sterling silver and stamped and the screw backs could be Alpaca because of the colour but they’re not stamped separately, like the butterfly earrings I have for sale. . Alpaca has better durability and is stronger to hold heavier earrings. Alpaca is a metal alloy that doesn’t rust and can be polished again just like silver. A very nice and wearable piece of vintage mexicana jewelry. In excellent condition. Elegant and classic. Gorgeous. Silver items can be more polished if requested. Some people prefer the aged looking.
