VINTAGE 60s Elegant Full Length Button Front Coat - S

This is a STUNNING vintage coat, both for its silhouette and its colour! A most striking purple on a vintage garment that is completely wearable in today's fashion world. This fits me perfectly as a size 6. It's a slimming, accentuating silhouette. Falls halfway between my knees and ankles ( I'm 5.7) So tempted to keep this but I have too many coats. 4 unique, semi-cylindrical front buttons 2 front pockets Fitted shoulders Slim sleeves that are 3/4 length on me but I have long arms. Others might wear this as bracelet length sleeves. Please see measurements. I wore a blouse underneath and the sleeves were fine. I wouldn’t expect to wear a thick sweater with this as the sleeves would feel tight. In amazing vintage condition. If it weren't for the tiny hole at the lower left and a nearby area with minimal spots of wear - all from aging ( last 2 pics ), I'd say that this coat shows hardly any wear. This coat has been EXPERTLY tailored, hand finished and endured the test of time! The trench styled shoulder flaps are fully lined in coordinating satin and on the inside, it has been fully lined, trimmed and the hand hemmed. This is a custom tailored garment therefore there aren't any tags. It feels like a soft, quality, wool blend. Pit to pit - 17 Shoulder seam to seam - 15.5 Sleeve length - 19 Length - 49.5 Waist - 18 Scrunch up the sleeves for another look. This is fabulous!
