VINTAGE MONIES Gerda Lynggaard Horn Necklace

This is MONIES vintage necklace designed by Gerda Lynggaard. The pendant and clasp are made of natural horn. They hang from a thick black rope. The designer tag is still affixed to the string and is legible. The pendant is just over 2 inches wide (at its widest point) and 3 inches long. The total length of the necklace is approximately 15 inches. This vintage item and unique neckpiece is highly sought after by collectors of luxury vintage jewelry and makes a special gift for a special person. It was purchased circa 1976 for approx. $400 USD and has been in the family ever since.
