Fabric: The textile is 100% Thai silk, with a handwoven ikat-inspired pattern. Thai silk was especially popular as a luxury export from the 1960s–1980s.
Style: The cut is kimono-inspired but tailored for Western wear (open front, pockets, unstructured but not a traditional Japanese kimono). This was a common design choice for high-end resort or evening wear in the 70s–
Vintage, most probably from the 1970s–1980s. Perry’s seems to have been a specialty label producing Thai silk garments for boutiques and department stores, rather than fast fashion. The construction and fabric point to a period when Thai silk was marketed globally as a luxury product.
