Before my mom passed they had her on Amytrytoline & prednisone. Finally, did a muscle biopsy that confirmed a mitochondrial disease called MELAS. I also Have MIDD (maternally inherited diabetes & deafness.

babalon156 @awaywardmermaid hee hee you would be surprised at how easy carb-less-ness is. It’s really all about making sure you get at least 70% of your calories from fat. That’s the catch lol and it’s magical! Pain level decreased massively within 2 weeks. 😃😃 the avvie is actually the glorious bearded vulture BUT I do have the eye of Horus upon my left shoulder since 84... 😉

All females on my dads side turned out to develop MS and scleroderma...and at 23 I was told I had beginning MS...before everyone ended up getting it. So far, other than symptoms similar to these conditions (and RSD) I don’t have either. I think a life time of weight and fight training helped...or maybe hurt? Lol

babalon156 @liongypsy Lots of pointers! First: Lilly's chocolate, choco-rite and many more low glycemic sweetener chocolate is a MUST (daily in my case). Also- the work of Dr. Fung and also Dr. Eric Berg is invaluable... Keto is everything! :) Bone broth to kill off the SIBO, apple cider vinegar/volcanic lemon juice and KETO!

babalon156 @dotseyqueen j keep a crock pot going all the time - that way you can chunk the carcasses any time! I like to add pork hocks/sliced shanks etc to all broth and some beef marrow bones mmmmm
