Vintage 100% Silk Handmade Novelty Football Tie

This vintage tie is handmade of 100% silk and features footballs and football players throughout. The background is black, and the players are accented by rich tones of green, yellow, and magenta. The interior of the tie is black, and the shape of the tie is as novel as the design: it goes from very thin to very thick. There is a tag in the bottom of the thick end showing material content, and a maker's tag across the back of the same end, which can be used to secure the thin end. I don't know who likes football enough to make a silk tie by hand, but here we are! There is some vintage wear, but the piece is in good condition overall.
