Vintage 1930s 1940s Art Deco Purple Smoking Jacket Robe Housecoat Loungewear L

This dapper purple and black smoking jacket has a Art Deco pattern woven into the fabric. Judging by the label and design it is from the 1930's or 1940's. The label reads "Bel-Air by Soojady Made in Canada" and the letter L indicating large size. This rare piece is in excellent condition, no stains or holes to report. Looks unworn, perhaps deadstock. It feels like it's made of rayon or acetate. It has a elegant shawl collar, satin belt cord and 3 pockets. Originally intended for men but would look striking on any gender. Will fit a variety of sizes and body types because of the wrap around style. Why not work from home or lounge around in timeless vintage style?
