Vintage 1950s White Basket Purse Handbag Made From Plastic Coated Wicker. Has Pearly White Lucite Handles, Clasp and Side Trim, Gold Metal Hardware and Leatherette Embellishments. Made in Hong Kong, Maker Unknown. Measures Approx.: 11 1/4" Length x 6 1/4" Height x 3 1/2" Wide Depth is Approx. 4". Front Features a Bouquet of Coloured Seashell Flowers with Faux Pearl Centers, Gold Cord Stems, Leaves Made From Painted Seashell and Real Dried Leaves, and a Green Velvet Bow. Art is Housed Behind a Plastic Window Pane Framed by a Gold Material Trim. Interior is a White Vinyl Lining. One Side has a Small Working Zipper Pocket, the Other has 2 Pouch Openings. Center is Open for Storage of Larger Items. Bag is Vintage and has Damage. Window has Yellowed From Age. All Colours May Have Faded From Time. Wicker is Broken in Areas and Some Spots are Missing Coating, Showing Natural Wicker. Weaving Pattern is Imperfect. Metal Hardware have Scratches and Cloudiness.
