Vintage 1960s Italian Jacquard Dress, size S/M

Vintage Jacquard Tailored Sheath Dress from the 1960s, "Jackie O style", made in Italy by brand Sufflè. Marked as an Italian 46 which is a US10, but fits more like a US 6/8. In good vintage condition, minimal signs of wear. The jacquard design is a stunning rich ornamental brocade in shades of burgundy/red, brown, navy blue and gold. Fabric appears to be a cotton/silk blend as far as I can tell (no tag, no stretch, bit of shine, some weight to it). Note that the gold thread parts are particularly shiny. Thin black lining, size zipper. *Please note: although the jacquard fabric does not have stretch, at some point someone has added in a slim panel of stretchy black fabric on the sides to give it the hips a bit of stretch.
