Vintage 1970s Pink & White Floral Strapless Maxi Dress With Lace Trim And Ruffle

This vintage dress is truly one-of-a-kind. No one else will have it. Guaranteed. I can say that because I made it! This was back in the 1970s when I had ideas of being a fashion designer. This strapless maxi style dress is 100% cotton with lace trim and ruffle. I've included a photo of the pattern cover from back in the day so you can see how the dress would look with straps. I could never decide on which color of strap to add. So I've included a couple of shades of pink for the strap which come with purchase. This allows you to choose what color you wish to add, or even if you wish to add straps, or if you'd prefer to keep it strapless. Your call. The size of the dress is a Misses Medium from the 1970s, but being it's a loose fitting flowing dress, it could fit a few sizes. But height will be the determining factor for this one. I've set out some dimensions to help with this below: Elastic band at the top is 28" inches around lying flat Stretched band at it's most stretched point 40" inches Waist 52" inches From top of elastic band to bottom hem 52" inches To get an accurate sense of the length for you to ensure a good fit, note I made this for me and I'm 5 feet 9" inches. The hem of the dress hits the top of my feet when standing flat. So awesome for anyone taller, BUT having said this, the ties provided could also be used to cinch in waist. Need more?
