Vintage 1980's Valentino Miss V Ladies Skirt Suit Size 6

This is an amazing 1980's skirt and blazer suit by Valentino. Valentino started the Miss V brand of ready to wear clothing in the late 1960's. This amazing suit dates from the mid to late 1980's. This is an estate sale find and was purchased together with a number of other high end designer vintage pieces, such as Dior, Burberry and Max Mara. The interior tagging indicates it was purchased at Creeds department store in Toronto. My research tells me that Creeds was a very high end store which carried designers such as Chanel, Dior and Ungaro to name a few. That store closed in 1990 which helps date this garment to the mid to late 80's. The design and shoulder pads are also consistent with that period. This suit is in amazing vintage condition with no stains, flaws or damage of any kind. It could use a dry clean to refresh but is otherwise ready to wear. The fabric is wool. The skirt has pockets, the set is fully lined and the jacket has shoulder pads for that 80's silhouette. The made in italy 75 cm belt was on the hanger with the suit when purchased. I don't know if it originally went to together but it will be included as well. The size tag is eu 40 or 6 US. But this is vintage sizing so please pay attention to the lay flat measurements as follows: skirt - waist 13 in, hips 19 in, length 22 in jacket pit to pit 19.5 in, waist 13 in, length 22 in, sleeve 23.5 in and shoulder to shoulder 16.5 in, The colour is a dark navy blue. Skirt is navy and white plaid.
