Vintage 50s St Michael “Marlin” floral dress

1950s dress from St Michael (vintage Marks & Spencer brand) Size on tag says UK 12, hips 36”…I would say it is much smaller than a US 8! (see photos for approx measurements) Repairs have been made to the zip at the waist, repair is hardly noticeable (see photos), and inside label is folded. It also looks like previously owner might have taken the dress up (see photo of hem) Otherwise, in fantastic condition!
