An incredible hand painted silk scarf. From France, it belonged to a woman who was a dressmaker at one of the greatest French fashion houses of all time. I love how sweet and whimsical it is, while also being luxurious... because who doesn't love to be wrapped in silk?
Vintage, very good condition. There are a couple of faint marks, as pictured. They may just be remnants of wayward paint.
Roughly 31 inches square.

The character wearing the diamond pattern outfit is actually Harlequin, who is Pierrot's romantic rival for Colombine's affections. Just thought I'd mention that, so you'll get more people finding your listing when they do a search for 'Harlquin'. :)
