Vintage Brass and Bakelite Spider Brooch

I have a feeling this 1940s spider will crawl off very fast! 🕷️ Made of brass and what I think is Bakelite, this spider has a wonderfully mottled green body, angular legs, little beady eyes and even tiny antennas! This is the green sibling to the vintage spider brooch that Cheryl Blossom wore in Riverdale, by the way! Approx 2” round. Vintage patina, but no damage.
