Authentic Burberrys’ London trench coat, made in England c.1980s, before the brand dropped the “s.” Crafted from Burberry’s signature cotton gabardine — a tightly woven, water-resistant fabric with a subtle iridescent finish that shifts between olive, sage green, and stone khaki depending on the light. The sheen comes from the mercerized twill weave unique to vintage Burberrys’ gabardine. Classic Westminster silhouette (long, relaxed fit — comparable to today’s Kensington). Fully lined in the Nova Check plaid. Double-breasted with horn-style buttons, epaulettes, storm flap, rear rain shield, and matching belt. Condition: clean overall with gentle vintage wear. The leather-wrapped cuff buckles show cracking and surface wear to edges; tiny spot below right pocket and light mark on collar (see photos). All hardware, lining, and stitching solid.
