Vintage Coasters 1930’s Lacquered Paper Mache Set of 8 plus Round Box #659

Very old set of 8 floral decorative coasters with intricate patterns. Features a mix of gold, green, and red colors. Circa 1930’s. They are stunning! Preowned and in good condition given the age. The were used regularly and do show rub marks or wear consistent with use for nearly a hundred years. Each piece is marked: ALCOHOL PROOF MADE IN JAPAN Individual coasters are 4 1/4” in diameter and 3/8” high Each has 3 raised ridges presumably to keep glasses from sliding around The round storage box of the same lacquered paper mache material is 4 3/4” in diameter x 2” high and has a slightly rounded top Clean smoke free pet free home Same or next day shipping
