Vintage Cow Horn vase, Steer horn Viking table display

A natural cow or steer horn, mounted on a silver plated or chromed base. The horn is smooth and has a pleasingly curved shape. Perfect as a central table display for a medieval inspired decor, or to hold (dry) flowers. Alternatively, the horn could be repurposed for a creative project. Condition: overall in good shape, with some scratches to the side of the horn. There looks to have been an edge mounted on the horn opening as there are glue remains. (edge missing). There is a bolt going through the horn, holding it to the base so I do not believe it to be water tight. Size: ca 13.5 inches long x 11 inches high
