Vintage Dolce & Gabbana for Leone Black Wool Pencil Skirt, size 40IT (fits like size 0/2 US - but please refer to measurements below. ) OKAY - THEY DO NOT MAKE CLOTHES LIKE THEY USED TO. It's crazy you guys - like, yes this is a designer piece - but not even designer pieces are as incredible now as they were then. If you are not from Vancouver - you might not be familiar but Leone was a really incredible designer shop there that closed it's doors in 2020 - the original owner founded it in 1987 (and sold it in 2015 when he retired) - and was actually the first shop in Vancouver to stock Dolce! It was commonplace for ready to wear collections to also have the shops label sewn in, which I find to be a really lovely practice that is sadly no longer done as we move towards oblivion. lol The quality of the fabric of the skirt is UNREAL - very fluid but really substantial and perfect for the Fall/Winter season. One of the best things about this piece is that the slit in the back has very sturdy snaps so that you can control the fit to your preference - if you want a wiggle fit - do them all up! If you want the sexiness and the ease of movement that comes with having it more open - do it! 100% wool. Unlined. In excellent vintage condition. 25.5 inches in length. 27 inches actual waistband. The hips are 18 inches flat - with some wiggle room as the weave of the fabric has give.
