Vintage Gruen Royal Gems 14K Diamond Precision Watch & Original Case

This vintage (50s/60s) precision watch by Gruen has a double locking fold over clasp closure and comes with its original blue velvet box. The watch straps are made of a black cord, and the clasp is 1/20 10K gold filled (stamped). The case is made of solid 14K white gold (stamped on the back) and there are 8 small genuine diamonds; 4 above and 4 below the watch body. The craftsmanship in the watch is beautiful as the "Royal Gems" series was higher end. The Gruen box has a blue velvet exterior with a gold tone Gruen crest/emblem on the right side of the lid. The interior of the box is a padded blue velvet on the bottom and a white silk in the lid that says, "Royal Gems by Gruen, The Precision Watch". It is slightly misaligned (like 2mm) but functional and in good condition. The watch has some light wear with the "most" affected area being the black cord (there is very minor fray). That said, the watch is in very good condition. It has a manual wind that is in great working condition, very few marks on the body, and great timeless appeal.
