Vintage Gunne Sax Jessica McLintock Gold and Cream Evening Gown

This gown is a stunner. Vintage Gunne Sax in almost perfect condition. No flaws or tears or damage to any of the many layers. This is chiffon over a satin skirt over a built in crinoline. The top is a corset style with boning and is quite generous in the bust. The skirt is a light champagne colour and the top is a complementary cream and gold brocade. This gown would be amazing for prom - it could even be a wedding dress. It is halter style closure with a button closure at the neck. The size tag is 15/16 but this is vintage and so it will be closer to a 12. Please note the lay flat measurements as follows. pit to pit 19 in - but there is ample room for the bust here because of the boning and structure of the top. So the 19 inch measurement is misleading. I tried this on and I would need to take it in considerably for a 36 C bust. The waist is 16.5 in lay flat. This is a floor length gown - at 5'7" it just grazes the floor in bare feet. There are a couple of very minor spots on the bodice which I point out in the last two photos. There is also a water mark on the satin layer under the Tulle that cannot be seen. All of this will be addressed by a dry cleaning which you will want to do to fully refresh this gorgeous dress before wearing her.
