Vintage Indiana Glass Whitehall Colony Pitcher – Peach/Pink Depression Glass – 48 oz – Glows Under UV (Selenium)
This stunning vintage pitcher was made by Indiana Glass in the iconic Whitehall pattern, also marketed under the Colony name. Crafted in a beautiful peachy-pink glass made to resemble Pink Depression Glass here it is called "Peach Collection". This piece showcases a bold, blocky geometric texture reminiscent of early American pressed glass, specifically made after Fostoria's "American" production in the 1930's was so popular, and actually made in the same molds as the popular line, since Indiana Glass was under Lancaster Colony Glass, whom had purchased Fostoria in 1986. Manufactured between 1960's - 1990's, this 48 oz pitcher however, was most likely made in the 1970's.
✨ Special Feature: Under 365 nm UV blacklight, the glass glows a brilliant pink-red hue due to the presence of selenium—an eye-catching detail for collectors of UV-reactive glassware!
