Reposhing this chic Kangol Modelaine beret I purchased from @amyredshaw. I love it so much, but tragically it does not look *as* good on me as I imagined it would. It's devastating! I think it's because I have short hair and also a freakishly small head. This hat would look striking and stylish on someone with long hair, or a French bob 💇🏻‍♀️. The gorgeous rich paprika colour is just....*chef's kiss*. Please, somebody buy this fabulous hat and give it the showing-off it deserves!

caroleplant I have a LOT of long hair and a med/lrg head. Wondering if you think this beret is larger than the average ones we find at most stores?

isthatcashmere @caroleplant I do think so, yes, particularly the overall outer diameter. The inner brim (is that the right word for it on a beret? 😅) is reasonably snug on me, fits well, but the hat itself is very roomy, I find, and the overall size of the hat just looks off-balance with my little pixie cut. It would look more proportional on someone with lots of hair. I added a couple of pictures to the listing that show the measurements. Hope this helps! ✌🏻
