Vintage Louis Vuitton French Company Keepall 50 Rare authentic vintage collectible late 1970s/early 1980s era Louis Vuitton French Company in very good vintage condition. Has held up incredibly well for its age despite enduring a lifetime of use. It has been very well taken care of. Made in the U.S.A. by the French Luggage CO. of California under Licensing Agreement with Louis Vuitton. The French Co produced bags on behalf of LV for the North American market from 1976 to 1991. There are some minor differences between the normal LV bags and the French Co LV speedy bags. The FC bags were not made with the traditional Vachetta Leather, and don’t have the signature LV heat stamps, instead having a signature brown and gold tag as shown, and they do not have LV branded hardware. Bag predates date codes, but has the original LV tag as shown. There is evidence of use and wear that comes with age such as some discolouration of leather on handles, a few. Leather piping is in overall good condition with some wear in areas. Bag is still very sturdy and usable and shows really well, has lots of life left in it. Original Talon zipper still works great. Incredible piece of LV history. Comes with authenticity certificate.
