Vintage Miu Miu * Extremely-Rare * Peynet Printed Cotton Dress (Collector's Piece) Extremely rare gem! This delicate Miu Miu shift dress features a print in collaboration with Parisian artist Raymond Peynet. I think this dress was made in 2003 or 2004. Peynet is known for his classic "Les Amoureux" characters, a pair of lovers who are depicted in various situations, beautiful, sweet, and sometimes mildly naughty. Miu Miu has taken these illustrations, printed them on unbleached cotton squares, and created a dress that looks like a patchwork of delicate pages sewn together. The dress is slightly sheer, so it's perfect as a layering piece, or pair it over a simple slip for coverage. The dress comes down to just below the knee and has a lovely bateau neckline, three-quarter sleeves, and a concealed side-zipper.
