Thank you for the kind words it’s very true sometimes I feel like my only outings is either an ER or a doctors office 😭 this past month has been so hard with homeschool because she has not felt well so I have been easy with her so now we’re behind again. It’s very challenging but I don’t see her ever going back to physical school either. I pulled her out in the first grade after sitting with her teachers and some of the staff explaining to them her issues,

@cynsational101 I noticed the lack of compassion from her teachers my daughter would cry every day when I would send her to school like something was going on. So she is much better being in my care and she of course is happier. It’s just really hard.

@cynsational101 My heart goes out to you because I understand how it is. I have issues with her and my older son ended up with a rare autoimmune disease in 2016 he almost died he was very sick in the hospital for six weeks. But he is almost 21 now he made it through and he’s living his best life! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@ntobar1980 oh wow. Great to hear he’s doing well! My oldest 21) daughter almost died in 2013. She had a Make A Wish in 2012 at Disneyland. She’s working full time with chronic pain & many other debilitating issues like lupus , neurological disease, etc but she’s a warrior. Trying to get my 18 yo working thru program for his GED as all 3 had to leave public normal school at different times. Our public school system is a nightmare especially when needing IEP

12 yo is behind too. She just started a virtual program (not thru public) & it was more flexible than others but until IEP is done she’ll be behind. Ik there’s only so much a chronically ill child can do each day &
some days they can do nothing but rest/sleep. An old bestie told me years ago “ Do your best forget the rest” ❤️🦋 You seem like an amazing mom !

@cynsational101 Wow!! we do have a lot in common. My son who almost died is going to be 21 my next boy is 18 we had kids close in age. He has GPA it’s called a very rare auto immune disease that usually does not affect kids his age but he was on dialysis he was on chemo. One of the hardest things as a parent is to watch your kids suffer and be sick and there’s nothing you could do.

@cynsational101 My youngest daughter at three developed epilepsy she had her first seizure it was nine months apart her almost dying and my older son. We were on vacation when she had her first seizure and we did not know what was going on we were in a parking lot waiting 45 minutes for the ambulance to arrive

@cynsational101 she was born with one kidney so we always doubt from the beginning with chronic UTIs and no epilepsy but she’s doing good. It took me years to get past the heart ache that I had to see between the two kids it takes a toll on you for sure.

to do school. She does about 30 minutes and she’s already asking to get off! 😔 She’s dizzy she said she’s nauseous but she’s on so much medication that I understand there are side effects

Oh sorry to hear she has seizures & epilepsy etc. Crazy my 3 have Intracranial Hypertension (like a sister disease to epilepsy) with alot of same neurological symptoms & issues. When my oldest was 12 we went to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio & the wing we visited was the Epilepsy/Intracranial Hypertension unit. And yes the illnesses cause dizziness/ nausea & exhaustion etc etc then the many meds too so it’s heartbreaking as a parent. It’s taken me years to come to terms too

To accepting it all. My 2 youngest are still testing for some symptoms that don’t fit their other DX but exhausting most things we’re thinking Rheumatologist will help especially since myself & my oldest have autoimmune disorders.
