Nocona Boot Company was founded by Miss Enid Justin, from the Justin Boot family, in 1925. In 1981, the Nocona Boot Company merged with Justin Industries. These are pre-merger boots, true Noconas, and an increasingly hard-to-find Made in USA. A rare vintage boot! Size 9 D wide width Smooth black leather no embellishments, simple design Round toe Condition is used: please review photos. Mainly the leather shows significant creasing. However, it’s very soft and not hard. I’ve cleaned and treated the leather with a conditioner and I’ve touched up some faded spots with a leather kote. Soles, heels and interior are in very good condition. They might have been rehealed. The heals say “Good Year Neo Lite Oil Resistant”. So over all, I would say this is a good work boot with solid quality behind it. If you are not looking for high fashion, but functionality these would be a great choice.
