Vintage "Pure Virgin Wool" 👔 tie | Made in Canada | Maria Svatina

A vintage brown wool tie. The pattern is classic with a twist - the red stripe is subtle. This is is a thinner tie - 3 inches at the bottom. Made in Canada with "virgin wool". The symbol for virgin wool was on a lot of clothing tags in the 70s and 80s. I am guessing this initiative (virgin wool & logo) started in the 1960s to give buyers confidence about the quality of the wool. We have some other vintage wool & silk ties in our closest.
