Vintage Shantung Silk Coat in Cream. Size Small

Timeless and elegant handmade silk coat. Cream coloured shantung silk - with is signature textured skins and subtle sheen- with coordinated covered buttons at front, interior snaps at waist and inside skirt to ensure a secure fit and drape. Dramatic folded cuffs on 3/4 length sleeves, secured with silk covered buttons. Rounded collar, rounded edge side pockets. Fully lined in (I believe) acetate. Bodice cut to fit the body closely. I was going to wear this to my wedding, but eloped instead 😆. Stored with care in tissue for years- there is no damage or visible flaws on this coat. It is stunning, and deserves to be worn! Not sure of the vintage of the coat, but stylistically- it features a slightly dramatic fit and flare 50s silhouette. Measurements Pit to pit 17.5" Waist 14" Length 48.5" Excellent vintage condition.
