Vintage silk chiffon scarf by Caroline. Handmade, colored with salt dye technique for this distinctive pattern in shades of green. Hand rolled edges. Salt dye is done by placing dye on the silk square and then dripping salt over it. The salt absorbs some of the dye, creating this pattern.
