Vintage Toronto Street Sign - Gerrard Street East 1386 - Gerrard India Bazaar

Authentic decommissioned Toronto street sign from the late 1990's to early 2000's. These have now been replaced by new versions and the older ones are becoming rare. It is made from Aluminum and measures 36" wide by 20" high, an weighs around 4lbs. It has some original holes from its previous hanging, likely on the side of a building at an intersection. It also has a decal for Gerrard India Bazaar in the top half of the sign, as used in various neighborhoods around the city. Single sided, and perfect for adding some vintage Toronto flavour to your living space. It has some patina and wear marks from being out in the elements for many years which adds to its beauty! The location of this sign would have been on the North side of Gerrard Street East between Greenwood Avenue and Coxwell Avenue, in the area known as India Bazaar in the east end of Toronto.
