This exquisite and unusual set belonged to a friend's mother. We don't have much information on it, but a jewelry specialist suggests it was crafted in Hong Kong in the 60s.
The brooch, which is cut from richly coloured and mottled jadeite, is finely etched and features a pinhole design. It is framed in 10K white gold (unmarked but tested) and adorned with some 19 diamonds of 88 cut (8 sides and 88 facets). It measures just under 1-1/2" X just under one inch, weighs 7.44 grams and is stamped on the back: Hand Made.
The screw-on earrings are 7/8 inch in a leaf or raindrop shape, with a solitary 88-cut diamond each. They weigh 5.64 g and are unmarked.
Everything is in very good condition. The diamonds are well set, apparently by hand. When viewed under significant magnification, there appear to be 2 or 3 threadlike vertical fissures on the brooch (somewhat visible in the last picture, I think) . They do not go right though the piece and should not affect its integrity or appearance. (t)

This jade has many cracks and is not valuable.

@dani202010 I have described the pieces accurately, further to detailed evaluation by both a jeweller and a gemmologist, in person. I am sorry they don't meet your standards, but I find it inappropriate and unfortunate that you state your opinion on the listing, based on photos alone, as though it were fact.
