Vintage music box from Hallmark

Was an old gift that was used for display/decor sometimes. Condition is excellent overall w/some minor paint scratched off the edges. Only played the music box a few times. The lid could never fully close, there’s a small gap in the front. It can be pushed down fully, but it just pops right back up. I think the hinges might have been too tight or close together, so it might be fixable if you’re willing to take it apart and reattach the lid, or add a clasp of some kind to keep it closed.
