Vintage silk dress with matching jacket

Turquoise and emerald shot-silk dance dress with matching bolero jacket, made to measure for the original owner but roughly a size 10. Bolero collar to hem 43 cm, 3/4 length sleeves measure shoulder to hem 39 cm. Skirt has a 7 cm hem and could easily be let down. Both pieces fully lined. Skirt has flattering darts in bodice and skirt. Waist is between Empire and waist-height, and is 72 cm around. Waist to skirt is 52 cm – hits just above the knee on someone 5'8. The fabric has a gorgeous shimmer and the colour shifts with the light, Zips up the back with a covered zipper. Finished cap sleeves on the dress are 16 cm shoulder to hem, Dress PTP is 40 cm. Worn once, to a college Christmas dance in 1966.
