Vintage silk scarf with a story

Vintage Italian silk scarf in classic earth tones. This scarf has a history. It was my mothers when she was a young lady and I remember seeing it in our home. Mom was born in 1921 so we can estimate that the scarf is 75 to 80 years old. Unless mom received it from her mom.... 25"×25" square no tags There is some damage to this piece due to its long and hopefully interesting life. Mom was a chemist,, graduated from McGill University and was a bomb girl in Valleyfield Quebec. What this scarf must of seen. Damage is shown in pictures, rolled hems, and slight separation of weaving in picture of medallion. Please note that i have located this exact pattern and sized scarf on social media in France....and they have confirmed made in Italy.
