Welcome to my very eclectic walk-in closet with multi-tier shelving all held within a bag of holding. I'm a firm believer in the 'Marie Kondo' approach & what doesn't spark joy I sell. I sell dark aesthetic clothes-modern & vintage, vintage manga, J-pop/Asian pop magazines & anime collectibles. All items are from my own personal collection & OOAK. I also create & sell dark aesthetic ecofriendly functional decor! Artfully I join nature, celestial, pagan, wiccan & macabre themes with a touch of the occult. The goal of my brand, Nocturnal Designs, is to provide a full sensory experience for mind, body & soul from cradle-to-grave. I'm used to selling in-person, but due to neurodivergence, chronic anxiety & physical constraints I'm aiming to sell my home goods line exclusively online. Presently I'm selling 100% ecofriendly & ethical beeswax sculptures, hand poured & decorated by yours truly, & potpourri. Shipping candle vessels is a PITA, so I'm trying some of my scents out in my potpourri to see what my customers like. I'd love it if you'd share my brand as I'm an introvert loner with little social media experience. Hence why I figured I'd tip-toe into IG, Pinterest & Poshmark. My primary shop for handmade items is naturally my Etsy, but I've been a long-time buyer on Poshmark & figured I'd try selling here as well as I love the community! I do bundle deals! brokenrebirth @ben_ike Hi. Feel free to send me a private DM on my E-t-s-y. Its really obnoxious we can't do that on Poshmark, but really it's not hard. You just make a Poshmark account and have to upload tax info and if you're the only person running your business, or it's a small hobby side gig or even a small business where you're the only 'employee' you would just put sole proprietor. When you make your account simply use your registered name.

brokenrebirth @ben_ike One reason I use 'brokenrebirth' is because that's my online moniker and what people know me by. So Nocturnal Designs is my business name but Broken Rebirth is my moniker that ties into why my business name is Nocturnal Designs. It interconnects. This is one reason I wanted to make a website so I can tell my story because E-t-s-y and other platforms do not allow for customization or customized SEO. So that's something to consider.

brokenrebirth @ben_ike Oh I also forgot to mention. If you do register your tax papers as a sole proprietor, you can put your name down and if space allows, your registered business name. I forget how many employees you need to have to mandatorily register with business name LLC/INC etc. and each state may be different. It's more simply when you can do sole proprietor.

brokenrebirth @ben_ike Oh I just thought of something else. See, I just googled all of this as it's easy to find information. Doesn't mean you'll understand it, as it's a lot but for my situation it was easy for me to understand. If you plan on selling personal items you own and already paid taxes on, at a loss, like I am, then you can still register as a sole individual/propriet but come tax season you will want to have your receipts organized. You do not owe taxes on personal goods sold at a loss.

brokenrebirth For ONE week only, 30% off any three items on my shop, no restrictions! I normally do not discount my beeswax candles and potpourri, so if you see something you like, please be aware, I do not mass produce designs, each item is OOAK. Further, I normally never discount my handmade items as they are expensive to make and PM fees are crazy. PM is not set up for selective discounting, so take advantage while you can!
