Wayne Clark Vintage Chiffon Blue Flowy Oversize Tunic Top Stunner

"The King of Glamour" is a title that Wayne Clark earned as an internationally celebrated designer of evening wear. His creations are sought after by celebrities. I fell in love with Wayne Clark's innovative fashions in the 1980's and invested in this one of a kind tunic top that is still traffic-stopping today. Originally it was a 2 piece set with a camisole that matched the Aztec-like insert in the front. Somewhere along the line the camisole disappeared but I kept the tunic top. It is truly unique. Made of an ultra light chiffon fabric in a brilliant royal blue The oversize tunic top is unique because of the rhinestones that are sewn into the fabric. Additionally it has black and silver metallic piping throughout. There are 3 front ties that can be tied or left open. I liked leaving the 1st tie undone. Originally there were two yellow and red feathers secured by a black & red bead at the end of each tie. Only one of these have survived. The eyes are drawn to the colourful center Aztec silk inlay at the front. Very wide billowing sleeves. I only wore the tunic set a couple of times so the top is in amazing condition for vintage minus the feather tassel. One could easily remove the other or add another to match. Wear over a cami /tank with leggings or harem pants. This is a one of a kind head turning piece. EUC for vintage. PTP 28". Sold as is. Wayne Clarke for Aline Marelle. A collector's piece.
