We weren't able to negotiate a price satisfactory to everyone so ended up purchasing in WBTownship. I'm not familiar with your specific street but there are tons of neighborhoods in St Paul I love! @mnsota_style oh I have to go back, I still needed the three week treatment but I left here sept 29th 85* got there 63* a week later it dropped the next week it started snowing like inches which I haven’t seen and snowed until I left thanksgiving eve. I thought would be here a week so I was unprepared lol and bought walking shoes and walking uggs,, and made friends with a girl who ran a boutique downtown lol

Yet my daughter was in trouble very serious and two months gone and now holidays and my dog got sick died unexpectedly while I was gone.my husband begged me if possible come home and I did with intentions going right back after holidays but one things the another and I’ve gotten worse.. I know I will never be better until I get back and now it’s strictly finances so that’s the reason I’m selling and I have 3 times this much I need to post just don’t have energy , but I will let you know for sure

I have a bunch of co-workers from Brazil that speak it ....love the way it sounds! :) As far as becoming an ambassador, I would start by following as many people as you can (they often follow you back) and sharing as much as you can (from closets that are 10k+ for additional exposure to their followers).

When I have new items for my closet, I group them by color and photograph and post everything I have in that color before moving to the next color. I often change it too....I will look at the closet and think, wait, these 2 colors look better next to each other, let me change it! lol (like I said, OCD!)

@sobotajam I wanted to elaborate on your question a bit more! You can definitely use any of your own boxes, as long as you have the posh shipping label from USPS. The only time there are criteria regarding which boxes you can use are when you use boxes that are from the post office, specifically USPS shipping boxes (that are usually red, white and blue).

@sobotajam If you are not using their boxes though, you can use whichever wants you want! :) I'm not sure if you knew, but you can order their boxes on the USPS website for free and they deliver them to your house for free! It's super convenient so I would recommend doing it! :)

@tinaeve78 Hello! As long as you priced them competitively (by researching similar items on the site), I generally leave my pricing. It is more a matter of following more people and "sharing" more items (from general feed and from parties) so that the right person sees your item.

@tinaeve78 You can lower prices sometimes when Poshmark has their Closet Drop promos, but in general, I wouldn't lower. If someone is interested, they will make you a lower offer if they don't like the price.....or someone may pay full price. If you lower prices too much, it reduces the perceived value/quality of your items..... does that make sense? If you have more questions, let me know!

I actually started shooting my images with my Canon DSLR camera so you will see some better quality images that I used that camera for in my closet. It got to be so time consuming though with the process of uploading my images to the computer and then to Poshmark.

@2ndhand_sweetie I decided to start using my phone so I could just use the Poh app and load/take my images directly. That has helped to save a ton of time. My current images are darker then I would like since the Posh app doesn't have a brightness adj option, but it still works. As far as set up, I taped a piece of foam core to my fireplace mantel and hung a hanger on it. It's right next to the window so I get lots of natural light. It is a super simple set up that way, but it works!! :)

@2ndhand_sweetie If I have clothing that is black, the posh app just doesn't take bright enough images....even next to a window. For those, I take the images using my phone with a landscape orientation (holding sideways instead of up and down). This helps the images fit into Poshmark's square formatting better. I then edit each image (brightness only) right in my phone, using no app but just the Androids normal in phone editing.

Be sure you have a shot of the full clothing piece....front and back....try to use the full 8 images if you can! I place the pieces close to the window & use natural light...that makes it easier! Also try to add measurements to your description. That's always good too! :)

I've been thinking about organizing my closet my color but I'm OCD and like to have things in a certain place. Just wondering how well it works for you and if there seems to be an increase in shares/sells?

@coolcat800 Hello! Organizing by color helps more in my organization and finding things! I don't know that it has increased sales, but definitely shares and it does help keep people's attention longer. I have more people scroll through to the end of my closet (versus just the 1st few rows) because they like the way it looks. I think it is definitely helpful! :)

I have tried to figure out how to arrange mine by category but can't find a way to do that in the site given that things are auto arranged when you share items. @chictar Hi Tamara and thank you for the nice comments! The order is created by the order in which you share items. It's the only way to put things in a specific order. I share my items by color. For example, I start with the blacks/grays & share. Then when I have time I share another color group.

@chictar You just have to remember, for example if you are sharing blacks/grays, to start with the black item furthest down in your closet (on the page) and share by working your way up to the top (highest up item on the page in that color). This way you keep the same order.

@michellefost136 Hello! You want to share your own items from your closet as well as items from other Posher's closets. When you share from your own closet, your items show up in the feed and are more visible by other Poshers. That is helpful in making sales!

@michellefost136 those share numbers only change when you share other people's closets or the items in other people's closets. Those numbers at the top of your closet for shares don't change when you share your own items. However, it is super helpful to share your own items.

Bonjour BobbiLe. Commet ca va? Merci pour la suite. Fantastique pour 3 langues. J'ai étudié le français & l'allemand, mais j'ai tellement oublie. Vocabulaire est très bon, mai grammaire, n'est pas. Verb conjugation gets me every time in both languages. I'm a wreck there. Just don't remember it & when you don't use it, goes by the wayside.

Aucun problème. Yes river is beautiful there & hIlarious you were at Eau Claire. So knowledgeable on that area. My parent lived around there for 25 years. Mom just moved out & going back up tomorrow to visit. Can't tell you how many trips we made to Minneapolis while they lived up there for shopping....because that area is lacking in that aspect, but not in outdoor activities:)

I checked and they said that if the seller doesn’t ship the item, in 7 or so days, I have the option to cancel then. Let me know if that works for you!

Its a bit stressful because of the quantity of photos you have to take and the quick turn-around times. There's always work in that genre of photography though...which is a good thing! :-)
