Blessings to you and yours as well. My big white boy is Walter, black and white is Willie and my profile picture is Solstice (Solie). You are correct, everyone are rescues. I'm an extremely huge advocate of adoption. All of my furbabies have been exceptional and so grateful for our home. We also adopt them older. Everyone wants kittens but we prefer older. All of just happened to be 7 yrs old. Solie just started his 5th month. They're wonderful. ππ₯°πππ

That would be Walter you've fallen for. π₯° He's our big baby boy. He's the size of a small dog, height and length and weighs 18#. I adopted him at 2 years old. I was afraid that the wrong person would get him and not understand why he can be a biter. The owner gave him to the local shelter because of that but he'd have been better if they wouldn't have had ALL 4 paws declawed! π‘ I cannot believe a vet would agree to that. He's the sweetest, cuddly cat and we love him deeply! ππππ€π₯°

Walter is so smart it's scary. π He obviously loves to get into everything he can fit into. The bag he's in has a zipper top. He's able to maneuver enough to close the top. If he learns to zip it I'll be a little freaked out! π³π He also has his own drinking glass in the bathroom and after he's done getting his drink, he empties the glass into the sink. Walter is a joy every day! π€ππ₯° He rides with me to go pick up pizza too. No carrier.

@piggyann1960 I am sure Walter is a biter due to the declawing. I am glad you saved him. My first rescue Greicei had all claws removed and was also a biter. She always hid. All kitties are unique. I love my babies. So sad how many of them are abandoned. They all deserve a good life too. I canβt imagine my life without them. I truly appreciate you and all the love you feel towards them as well. You have made my heart extra happy today. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

@piggyann1960 Walter sounds awesome! I have a kitty named Ollie that weighs 18lbs. He just showed up at my door one day 4 years ago I opened the screen and he walked right in and never left, lol. He is a Manx. He has a natural bobbed tail. Hops like a bunny when he runs. He is also very smart and clever. Benjamin is the one that likes riding in the car. He has a lot of health issues and has to go to the vet on a regular basis. He is the sweetest kitty I have ever known. β€οΈπβ€οΈ

Thank you very much! I'm always happy meeting someone as wonderful as you that has the heart to help these babies. Walter has grown to trust us so he's wonderful and the only time he does more than his love nibbles when we're petting him, is when we're playing rough with him and he gets too mad. We just have to ask him to not bite so hard and we let him settle down. All our babies are wonderful! π₯°πβ€πβ€πβ€

Solie just started his 5th month here. He was born in a fabulous foster home. We keep it touch with her often. It's incredible how much he's grown inside and the self esteem he's found. He used to hide so I closed all the rooms off he hid in. We just let him wonder around and gave him the support he needed to come out of his shell. His foster mom is so shocked and happy for him and so are we.π₯°β€πβ€

She kept asking how I got him to do this or that. I didn't ask anything of him. I just gave him the time and space he needed to gain his confidence. When I stopped him from giving him places to hide away from everything he just watched us and the cats and learned on his own. He LOVES to hear "good boy!". He repeats the behavior just so we'll say it again! π
