It is such a special place and I love it! Aw your baby is so cute. I gained a lot of weight in grad school since I work full time and go to school so I've got a lot of clothes I'm having to get rid of :(

spellsofmagic @ateliersona Thanks dear😘 sales have been so-so, Sonali. I had a good run for a couple of weeks and it's slowed again. I'm thinking I should stock my closet with smaller, lower budget items (jewelry/ accessories etc) to have sales on a regular basis. Selling the $50 and above stuff when posh is slow is a special struggle.

ateliersona @poojajp omgsh I totally love handbags too but that might be the brown girl in me talking! My mom and I love hand bags and ever since I started selling on Posh it has made it easier for my mom to go through different brands and various styles because she knows I can sell them when she's done with them! And I buy my hand bags with the knowledge that they will sell!

ateliersona @poojajp and lastly, I think you'll enjoy selling smaller things (for one, it definitely keeps the husbands from yapping about how we take up too much space in the house!!!) and it helps incentivize buyers - you can "throw in X jewelry item for free" with the purchase of a bag - just incorporate the cost of the jewelry into your bag price ;)

ateliersona @poojajp sorry one last thing - the downside of jewlery is that you have to find it at a low cost because people low ball like crazy. But it helps finding cheap and selling cheaper because both Suze and I discovered that despite lower profits per sale, you end up having many more quantity of sales which gets you more profit over time, I think!
