Hi! I'm Shadow, owner of Jaks Attic. Jaks was created from the first initials of my family, plus my Office/Craft Room is in my attic - thus Jaks_Attic was created! I believe we should be responsible for the energy we share, and the footprint we are leaving on Mother Earth, so I am filling my closet with stylish looks at bargain prices! I will entertain all offers! If you want something just ask!
If you add me I will do my best to spread the love and share some of your listings! Happy Poshing!

Welcome to POSH! I noticed some of your photos are sideways, I had the same issue!! Finally figured out how to fix that...I had to save my photos as a Jpeg in order for them to be straight. Not sure if it's because I have a Samsung vs. Iphone. Just thought I'd share in case you were having the same issue. ♡

@lolomichelleb Thank you so much! I've been trying to figure out what's going on with my photos. I do have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I really appreciate the help <3

@jaks_attic My pleasure! I went batty trying to figure that out. May be an easier way, but I use a photo app like Pics Art and Snapseed that makes it easy to save in a JPeg.

Hi, nice to meet you! Cute closet/attic 😊 A tip for your mannequin, if you can't afford to fix her "cracks" you can use makeup concealer and just wait till its dry and make sure it doesn't rub off. I did that for my girl lol. She's got a big gash in her neck.

Oh and make sure you get the closest match of makeup to her skin color. It's so much cheaper than buying everything to fix her or trying to find a new hand to fit her. Also a glove would work. And if you have a bangle or bracelet to fit just over the connection point of the hand to the arm, it makes her look a lot more realistic 😍

@lolomichelleb Just for future reference - I discovered that if you either crop your photo after taking the pic, or adjusting your cameras size/resolution, you don't have to use a photo editing app. I really appreciate your help, I probably would still have sideways pics if you hadn't mentioned it! Are you going to the posh get together in April? I think it's going to be held in Atlanta.

@mistyheart Thank you so much for the tips! Is it really worth it to fix her up? Did fixing up your girl make a big difference? What I'm really trying to figure out is if it's worth the time (time being money) to fix her aesthetic issues or if I should just invest in a new dress form or some of the molded hanging display forms. Thank you for your advice! I really appreciate it!!

@vickyss Thank you so much for the warm welcome and expert advice! I am seeing a lot of items that I thought were not allowed (men's & children's clothing, used makeup, and dental care / health & weight loss products). Should I do or say anything or just ignore it?

@vickyss Thanks, I love it too! It's actually my grandmother, great grandmother, and great aunts. I just think it's such a great moment in history!

Yes, we are suppose to report said items, if there's a closet full of stuff ( sad to say it happens..) I report the user for unsupported items. I've tried to help ones who just signed up by directing them to poshuniversity and official forum. Honestly, most didn't realize they weren't PC & deleted items. Not sure why folks don't read all the instructions first...😏

Hi, I'm Donna. Welcom to Poshmark! The best advice I can give you is to follow your fellow Poshers & share their items. They'll return the favor. Your goal is to get as many people as possible to see your closet. If you want training to learn more about how to do this efficiently, there's a group you can join called The Posh Society. http://www.oceanjewelersonline.com/the-posh-society-community-of-closets/💖
